upgrades

I kissed a girl a while ago at this party. It was mid week so despite pleadings she had the good sense to demure and give me the brush off and not come home with me. Smart girl. However I bumped into her again. Thought that despite other distractions I'd focus on her and see what came of it. I presumed that I might be on for an upgrade. Didn't happen. Turns out it's an actual policy of hers and wasn't circumstantial.
